A quick money saving tip

I have been doing this for about a year and it is working great for use it saves us 88.80 per month so now I have you wondering whag is this great money saving time I want 88.80 extra a month that is a phone payment or internet payment.  So here it is I buy 2 liter sodas mellow yellow is my hubbys drink of choice and he saved up all his empty 20 oz bottles and I refill them it is a simple as that.  Okay so here is How it works one 2 liter cost 1.45 at family dollar and 1 20oz cost 1.25 eavh 2 litter will fill 3 1/2 20oz.  My hubby takes 3 a day so that makes us need to use about 3 bottles a week.  It is that simple.  I like to use s funnel to prevent spills snd mess but when hubby fills them he does not use one that is just person choice.  I will put s picture in of what it looks like when I fill them.  Also if you csn find your brand on sale stock up I do.  When the dollar store puts them on s 3 for $3.00 I get a lot and that is a extra .35 per bottle that I save.

I hope you enjoy this and That it helps you save some money.

How to make Sidewalk Chalk Paint

Today I decided it was a nice warm day and it would be fun to make some sidewalk chalk pain I had found a post about it on http://pinterest.com/ and I will link it below for the source.  It was very simple and the kids had a great time doing it.

What you will need.
Corn Starch
Water
Food coloring
And some small containers (I used a egg carton)
Natural High Chocolate Fudge Mousse (Google Affiliate Ad)
Wilton 448965 Gel Food Colorin (Google Affiliate Ad)

All you have to do is mix equal parts of the water and corn starch together in the container. You could be done at this point but white chalk paint was a little to boring for us so we added in some food coloring for a pop of color and it turned out great.  It was a fun project for right before bed to get them all tired out.  (but would be great any time of day Haha)

They were having so much fun it was hard to get them to come back in!

By the way it looks like it is not going to show up very good when you first start to put it on the ground but as it dries it get brighter and brighter so just give it time to show up.

Also I found that if you want it to be chalk and not paint if you let it dry over night it would be had and work good as chalk

If you would like to see how we made the chalk and a good walk through of this you can check it out on my youtube channel here is the link to this video.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?edit=vd&v=BUKYT3O3uAo Enjoy!
